Key Roles

At the National Automobile Club of Azerbaijan (AMAK), Vafa is responsible for:

  • Overseeing the implementation of road safety projects
  • Coordinating road safety projects with partner organisations (private and government)
  • Preparing and managing work plans for projects
  • Designing and developing road safety training materials and sessions
  • Exploring partnership opportunities with private companies, NGOs, government agencies and media organisations
  • Managing AMAK’s communications strategy to raise awareness of their road safety work
  • Overseeing AMAK’s road safety strategies and designing new road safety projects
  • Liaising with the FIA and members of the FIA network to implement road safety projects in Azerbaijan

In addition, Vafa has an extensive background in training including delivering training programmes and producing training materials for Jumeirah Bilgah Beach Hotel, the Baku 2015 European Games and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

BA in Philology, Arabic Language and Literature/Education (Honours diploma), Qafqaz University, Azerbaijan, 2002 – 2008
